Usually, Poker is played with poker chips. A poker game can have seven or more players, in which case you need to supply chips for each player. There are four types of chips in Poker. The lowest-value chip is the white chip, while the highest-valued chip is a red chip. The other two types of chips are blue chips, which are worth ten, twenty, or twenty-five whites. The game is usually started by buying chips from players who “buy in” (put money into the pot). Usually, players buy in the same amount of chips.

The game of Poker is played with 52 cards in a standard deck, but in some variations of the game, a joker is used to add more cards to the deck. The joker is also known as a wild card, and counts as an ace, a pair of kings, or a straight flush.
